Dear Alumni and Friends,
As we are all aware, Madison Montessori School is a special community that focuses on the betterment of each child by nurturing his or her independence and educational and social skills. Students at Madison Montessori develop a love of learning, a love of the community, a love of the environment, and a curiosity about the world.
The Annual Fund Campaign is a cornerstone of school funding. The money raised through the Annual Fund serves both to upgrade essential aspects of the school facilities and infrastructure and to maintain teacher benefits and training. Among other things, last year’s Annual Fund provided the money for the excellent new classroom lighting that the students and teachers appreciate each day and for a new camera which is used to document daily life at Madison Montessori.
Our goal this year is to raise $20,000. Contributions will retroactively fund our recent playground upgrades, including the beautiful and safe new fence, the plantings, and the table. Funds will also go towards the purchase of a new computer, books, and materials for the classrooms. Finally, Annual Fund contributions will be used for teacher training and to support the benefits package for the school’s excellent staff. Each dollar, as always, will be spent with the goal of maximizing the quality of the education offered at Madison Montessori. Your gift is fully tax-deductible and may possibly be matched by your employer.
